We are reluctantly having to put up our pride and joy MB Sprinter LWB/High Roof Campervan which we converted during the Covid pandemic 2019 to 2021.
Due to being diagnosed with a Brain Tumour and subsequent operation and treatment I’m no longer allowed to drive so we are unable to use the van as designed the van has been lovingly converted with all the mod cons and gadgets to get you almost anywhere you want to go.
Sitting on a A08 plate (2008) with just 119,000 miles on the clock, the van was serviced in Dec 2023 along with it’s mot, so ready to go.
Equipment starting on the roof: 3 x 100watt PV solar panels, 2 MaxxFann one over the kitchen and the other one over the bed. WIFI Antenna
Front passenger double swivel seat fitted, lagun swivel table, bench seat opposite siding door which houses the truma 4e combi boiler, this provides both hot water and hot air heating and can be run off mains electric or LPG. tinted glass windows fitted to both sides of the van and have vanX blinds
We changed MB audio unit to an android touchscreen unit to aid sat nav and we also changed the fitted tyres to, General Grabber AT3 all terrain and these are 3PMSF marked so good for all season driving.
Power, water & LPG
Power is provided by the three external solar panels feeding into a Photonic Universe MPPT Solar controller and then into a Roamer 12 volt 300AH LifeP04 Lithium Battery.
An external Mains Hook Up socket is fitted. This is wired to a Small consumer unit to power the 240v sockets when connected. A 3000 watt inverter allows for off grid use of 240volt kit from the battery.
USB sockets are fitted throughout the living area for phone chargers etc
Water is provided by an internal 97 litre potable water tank, which is connected to an external inlet fitting.
A Shurflo trail king 7 water pump with an accumulator vessel giving 7l/pm of water at 20 psi (2Bar) pressure.
A 110ltr Underslung Grey Water tank with external drainage tap has the kitchen sink and shower waste connected to it.
The LPG tank is mounted underneath the van at the back and has an external filling point on the passenger side of the van, the tank size is 25 Ltr and comes from GasIT. An internal level meter is fitted inside the van.
Toilet & Shower Room: Compact toilet and shower cubicle, Thetford Swivel cassette toilet with powered flush. Shower cubicle is fully watertight and has a Mira digital shower fitted, one of the hot air vents are situated here allowing the cubicle to used as a drying room if needed.
Kitchen:Bespoke kitchen units house the Thetford Triplex oven and hob, matching sink and tap, with a pull out spray nozzle. Ideal if you need to shower off sand after a trip to the beach. The 50Ltr compressor fridge which is powered off the battery and or mains hook up when on a campsite.
Sleeping:A king size bed is fixed at the rear of the van and comes with a made to measure memory foam mattress, overhead cupboards allows for additional storage pace, You can use the single bench as an additional sleeping area
Outside space : The van comes with the Swift van 325 Tall awning, giving you plenty of additional outside space to enjoy your location.
