Here we have for sale our Peugeot Boxer camper van which was made with only two people in mind . I built the van myself because I wanted to take my track bike with us to do motorbike track days . We also wanted to spend time off grid and to be totally self sufficient.
To meet those criteria I made a high level French style bed for the track bike to fit under ( this has since been lowered slightly to allow sitting up in bed as I no longer do track days ) There is still a large garage space for whatever sporting / leisure equipment you may require .
I fitted a 110 lit freshwater tank and a 70 L wastewater tank. I also fitted two solar panels to the roof and there are two leisure batteries. There is a Thetford cassette toilet and shower cubicle with a bifold door. There is a Truma gas and electric water heater and a Propex warm air heater . There is a Dometic three-way 80 lit fridge and a three ring gas hob . All the gas appliances and gas locker have adjacent drop out points through the floor of the van . There is also a Carbon Monoxide monitor/alarm . There are several 240v and 12v sockets in the habitation and a couple of USB ports close to the bed for charging mobile phones etc . There are also 12v and 240v sockets in the garage .There is an omnidirectional TV aerial and an articulated TV bracket . There is also a microwave which will be left in the van .
There are two skylights , one in the shower and one above the bed . There are two captain’s chairs which swivel . There is cab air con sat nav and Bluetooth phone connectivity. There is a Thule retracting step up into the accommodation and a Thule bike carrier on the back of the van . There is a tow bar fitted to the van . There is also a Fiamma awning complete with privacy room which has hardly been used .
The van has a full service history and we have all the MOT certificates.
We have had many great adventures with the van a highlight of which was the north coast 500 which we did in eighteen days in October with no need to stay on a site once . We are reluctantly selling because of health issues but really hope the new owners will get just as much pleasure from her as we have . Please feel free to ask any questions.
