We converted our Renault Master in 2022 with a view to touring the UK and Europe. Due to a change of direction and a house renovation we are very reluctantly selling our beautiful camper van and she is indeed a beauty. We camped only twice in Wales and since then the van has been kept under cover in a storage facility. The interior has had zero wear/tear and is in mint condition/as new.
Reconditioned engine and new clutch installed, less than 2000 miles ago.
The Long Wheel Base provides spacious accommodation. Only quality materials were used throughout. The kitchen area was installed by a craftsman who made a stunning job as you will see from the photos. Kitchen area carpentry alone cost £2700. Kitchen counter tops are solid oak.
The van will sleep three adults. The seating/dining area converts to a double bed. The seat cushion covers were hand made by an upholsterer and the fabric is a beautiful grey upholstery-grade chenille. Chrome ceiling spotlights and two chrome touch wall lights. Chrome electrical sockets. A pine table top can be used in the dining area when needed which includes fixings.
The kitchen has a stainless steel square Ikea sink with chrome double taps. Inside the shower area sits the portaloo (which has never been used and is as new). Next to the shower area is a large storage cupboard for your clothes and essentials. In addition there is storage space above the cab roof. Lots of cupboard space, shelving and work surfaces. Work surfaces are solid oak and there is a flip-up extender which adds extra counter space when needed. Kettle/toaster/single hob included.
The floor is a very good quality laminate. The walls are clad in pine tongue&groove, with some areas covered in pale grey felt car fabric.
A spacious fridge freezer sits inside a cupboard and rolls out on wheels for access. Again, all brand new.
We installed a deep cycle leisure battery (weighing 100kgs) which enables off grid living for several days. There is also a large solar panel on the roof and an inverter. There is an electric hook up facility of course.
The van is fully insulated and sound-proofed and heated by a diesel heater which works really effectively and efficiently. Very economical.
There is a ‘control panel’ on the front of one of the benches which shows battery levels etc.
USB sockets x 2 for charging devices.
Fresh and grey water tanks installed.
Tinted windows and sliding side door with tinted window.
Under seating storage areas.
Drives like a dream.
